The Scriptation & Think Crew integration makes it easy to transfer your detailed Scriptation script breakdown data directly to Think Crew’s production scheduling software. You’ll start with using Scriptation’s Tagging features for the fast, efficient way to breakdown scripts for production:
The Scriptation & Think Crew Integration works in two simple steps:
1) Export Your Scene Data from Scriptation
- Open your marked-up script in Scriptation
- Click the “Tag” button in the top header
- Select “Reports” (the stack of papers icon)
- Scroll down and select “Think Crew”
- Save the .STC file (Scriptation Think Crew format) to your device!
2) Import into Think Crew
- Navigate to your Think Crew project
- Go to the Scripts page
- Click the upload button
- Either drag and drop your .STC file or click to browse and select it
- Click “Upload” and you’re done!
Your script appears in Think Crew complete with all breakdown information intact. From there, you can immediately create schedules that automatically include all of your tagged elements from Scriptation.
Every scene arrives with its cast, props, locations, and notes exactly as you tagged them.

New script? New breakdown. You’ll need to export the updated breakdown and re-import it into Think Crew.
