Your weekend read just got a whole lot easier on the eyes. With Playback in Scriptation, listen to your scripts anywhere your device goes. The car, the plane, the gym… anywhere you want to hear how the latest revisions address your notes or if this part is the one you want to audition for.

Our redesigned and reimagined Reader mode now makes the words jump off the page with lifelike voices and a cleaner, more focused look. New voices have been added to help bring an heir of casting and customization to how you listen to your scripts.

With available readers ranging from Friendly Neighbor to Fairy Godmother, you can take your read from New York to Neverland at the touch of a button thanks to Playback in Scriptation.

Scriptation Settings are now found all in one place, to make customization easier; that’s why Scriptation 6.0 also brings the ability to choose what icons are in your top menu. Only bring the ones you want – or want to learn how to use (eventually…:-).

Fully customize your Playback Presets once, and carry it over to every script, sketch, or scene you want to listen to. Set, forget, and listen to every script the way that helps your process most. Or the way that helps your Studio Exec boss’s process most.

You can also tailor which elements of the script are displayed and/or read aloud dynamically; for faster dialogue-only sprints to full on, every line of action narration and of course – a wonderful blend of both.

Playback is designed to get you listening to your scripts once the download hits 100%, but we also built in the flexibility for users to dig into their nitty-gritty settings . That can mean not just adjusting what gets read from the script, but how it gets read. Pace up the line delivery or slow down the speaking rate, and vice versa, to make your script match the tone intended.

No cast is now officially no issue. Table Reads no longer require days of scheduling, hours of script printing, and trays of catering. Just set your Scriptation Playback to the settings you envision for your cast (and Narrator/Action Line reader), hook up your bluetooth to your iPhone, and get your room ready to make their notes on their iPads… in Scriptation, of course.
